Independent Sports Nutrition Reviews · Since 2013
Evidence-based supplement reviews. No paid placements.
Paramount Supplements tests, reviews, and analyzes the products serious athletes actually use. We work for readers, not brands. Every guide is grounded in peer-reviewed research, every review is independent, and every affiliate relationship is disclosed.

Supplement Reviews In Progress
Our editorial team is working through a cornerstone series this quarter. New guides publish here as they clear review.

What 200+ randomized trials actually say about loading, timing, and the brands that test below label claim.
Whey isolate vs concentrate: a registered dietitian’s breakdown
Where the two forms actually differ — protein content, lactose, cost per gram, and when the upcharge is worth it.
The best fish oil supplements: we tested 18 brands for oxidation
Peroxide value, anisidine value, and what those numbers actually mean for the capsules in your cabinet.
How we work
Four principles that shape every review and every guide on this site.
Independent
We don’t accept payment for coverage. Brands cannot pay to be reviewed, featured, or rated favorably. Affiliate commissions never influence our scoring.
Evidence-based
Every claim is anchored to peer-reviewed research. We cite primary sources — JISSN, AJCN, Med Sci Sports Exerc — not press releases.
Transparent
Affiliate disclosure appears at the top of every review. Our editorial standards, sourcing hierarchy, and correction policy are published openly.
Maintained
The supplement industry moves fast. Guides are reviewed for accuracy on a rolling 12-month cycle, with the last review date shown on every page.
About Paramount Supplements
Paramount Supplements has been part of the sports nutrition community since 2013. In 2026, we relaunched as an independent reviews publication — moving from a transactional role to one we’ve wanted to play for years: helping readers cut through the marketing noise and figure out what’s actually worth their money.
We’re a small editorial team backed by reviewers credentialed in clinical nutrition and strength and conditioning. Read more about our team, mission, and how the site is funded →
